Engineering and Medicine: The Prescription for an Aging Population

AtomPlease join your colleagues on November 5, 2008, 3:30 - 5:00 PM to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Senator John Glenn’s historic return to space, as The Ohio State University presents “Engineering and Medicine: The Prescription for an Aging Population.” Join Senator John Glenn and specialists from the College of Engineering and the College of Medicine for a discussion about the effects of aging on the human body, and what The Ohio State University is doing to further the research interests Senator Glenn began on the Shuttle Discovery in 1998. This event is presented by the OSU Medical Center Office of Geriatrics and Gerontology and the Center for Clinical and Translational Science, the College of Engineering, and the John Glenn School of Public Affairs. Please invite your students and feel free to pass this announcement on to others you feel might be interested in attending.
